Ok, so I pirated Civilization IV a long time ago, and deleted it. I went out yesterday and actually purchased it and got home to install it. All it lets me do on the auto run is play, view the readme, or exit. The problem is, I no longer have it installed. I looked through old files and can't find any Civ 4 files anywhere. What can I do to check if the game is still installed in some way or to completely remove it from my system?Civ 4 installation problem.?
There are probably some registry keys for the game still there. Try using Ccleaner. (registry --%26gt; scan for issues --%26gt; fix all issues)

If that doesn't do the trick, there could be a lot more remaining from the previous installation of Civ 4. Use the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility in that case:
