Is Civilization IV worth buying?

The complete game plus the expansions are on sale on Steam until like monday morning for only 7.50. I'm wondering because I hear 4 is the best. Like what exactly do you do in it? Is it different than a traditional RTS type game? 7.50 seems pretty good for the complete game.Is Civilization IV worth buying?
Civilization 4 is a turn based strategy game. It has a lot of depth and replayability. It also has a huge variability in difficulty (you can make it as easy or as hard as you want). You start in the "stone age" and advance your way through the ages. You don't have to destroy everyone to win, as you can also win through other means.



It is one of the BEST turn based RTS games out there. For less than $10 you can't go wrong. However, you must be into RTS games, and the micromanaging can get overwhelming sometimes.



Steam has it on sale every now and then, so if you did not buy it, you'll get another chance.
