Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home?

I need some help answering these questions about Star Trek IV. Any answers would be helpful. =]

1. During Spock's memory tests, the computer speaks very rapidly, almost too rapidly to discern. The first question it asks Spock is, "Who said 'Logic is the cement of our civilization, with which we ascend from chaos, using reason as our guide'?" What was Spock's reply?

2. What do you think the ball on the probe represented?

3. What substance was Scotty trying to get to recrystallize so they could return home with the whales? Give the name and the chemical formula.

4. When Chekov is captured by the crew of the USS Enterprise, what does he end up doing to try and make his escape?

5. How does Spock get the whales to agree to help them?

Thanks for your help!Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home?
T'plana-Hath, matron of Vulcan philosophy

I rthink it was a focal point of the energy from the probe

He was trying to get the dilithium crystal to do this, but they were going to inject high-energy photons from fission reactors to do this (I hope you do not mean invisible aluminum)

He pulls his phaser on them, but it doesn't work, so he tries to run away, but misjudges and falls

Although not mentioned, I think he promises them a safe noew world to live inStar Trek IV: The Voyage Home?
1. I Think Spoke said "Nothing Unreal exist"

2. The Ball I think was like an Antenna Like Transmitter

3. Scotty was trying to Re-Cyrtalise Dillithium, The Time Travel had Drained Them, Scotty used the High energy Protons Found as a by-product of old style Nuclear Reactors, The Reactor they took them from was the USS Enterprise

As For the name of the Chemical Formula ? IDK

4. He took that Portable Klingon Phaser That Disdn't work (Because of the Radiation) and tossed it at the CMDR. on the Enterprise and Ran , But He fell off the deck and was injured and taken to a Hospital.

5. Spoke Mind Meld with the whales.
